The program manager collaborates with GME staff, program directors, radiology support staff, and 15-18 trainees. The position serves as a central hub for all seasonal requests from the GME office for 8 fellowship programs - ACGME accredited and non-accredited. The ability to build positive relationships with faculty, house staff, Department program support, and institutional partners is essential. The role is best suited for persons with prior GME experience, intermediate (or better) technical skills, and the desire to contribute to a positive team dynamic. The team expertly balances professionalism with a fun and innovative work environment. The work is diverse and offers opportunities to expand knowledge applicable to the larger institution.
Facilitating GME requests related to new appointments, visas, visiting rotations, applicant coding, program expansions, PD changes, monthly duty hour reporting, monthly VA work hour reporting, New Innovations 360 evaluation, and rotation management
Managing HR processes including payroll, FMLA, and Kronos
Organizing joint program events (graduation, department orientation, fellow career day for faculty recruitment, monthly fellow events, quarterly meetings of fellowship PDs, etc)
Managing updates/registration with professional, certifying, and accrediting organizations
Purchasing program resources and branded merchandise
