PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for timely response to requests for the release of health information, and answering phone calls, while protecting patient confidentiality. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers high volume of calls received in the ROI call center and responds to customers inquires in a polite and courteous manner. Screens, sorts, and prioritizes correspondence/mail and print requests, separating priority versus non-priority requests for the release of health information.
