The largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Intensivist to join our team as TheMedical Director, for the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC).

Position Details:
Care provided in an exclusively inpatient setting (16-bed adult medical and surgical ICU), multidisciplinary, collaborative/closed model ICU
Work closely with the System Director for Critical Care RWJ Barnabas Health to assure best practice and quality is delivered at the site
Focuses on quality, safety and evidence-based medicine
Teaching fellows, residents, students, nursing and other ICU staff
Requirements:
Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
Ability to work collaboratively with all specialties and ancillary staff
Ideal candidates will be eager to join a multidisciplinary team, and be comfortable working in a teaching and collaborative setting
Minimum 10+ years of clinical experience
Previous director/leadership experience preferred
