The largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Intensivist to join our team as The Medical Director, for the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC).

Position Details:
- Care provided in an exclusively inpatient setting (16-bed adult medical and surgical ICU), multidisciplinary, collaborative/closed model ICU
- Work closely with the System Director for Critical Care RWJ Barnabas Health to assure best practice and quality is delivered at the site
- Focuses on quality, safety and evidence-based medicine
- Teaching fellows, residents, students, nursing and other ICU staff
Requirements:
- Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
- licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Ability to work collaboratively with all specialties and ancillary staff
- Ideal candidates will be eager to join a multidisciplinary team, and be comfortable working in a teaching and collaborative setting
- Minimum 10+ years of clinical experience
- Previous director/leadership experience preferred
