The Department of Internal Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has an immediate opening for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist to join our Cardiology division.
The Cardiology team provides Clinical Cardiology services to Roswell Park patients including consultation, ECG interpretation, transthoracic echocardiography (with strain imaging) and transesophageal echocardiography. We work closely with Roswell Park oncologists, surgeons, and specialists in all aspects of cardiology and cardio-oncology including diagnosing and managing cardiac complications related to chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy.
We plan to expand our services to include stress echo, nuclear stress testing and Cardiac MRI. Expertise in interpreting these imaging modalities is preferred but not mandatory.
The candidate will have excellent clinical skills, demonstrate strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills to promote strong collaborative relationships with other clinicians at Roswell Park. Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York and ABIM board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases.
For the interested candidate, protected research time is available, but research isn’t required. There are ample opportunities for clinical studies and research trials, and the candidate will have access to a robust mentoring program.
This position will secure a competitive salary commensurate with experience, moving expenses and an excellent benefits package (details available upon request). The on call/coverage is favorable.
