The Department of Pediatric Radiology at Children's Minnesota is seeking a second Pediatric Interventional Radiologist with fellowship training in pediatric and/or adult interventional radiology. The candidate would be joining an experienced group of 15 Pediatric Radiologists with current specialists in Interventional, Neuro/Head & Neck, and Musculoskeletal radiology.Applicants should be BE/BC in pediatric radiology and/or adult interventional radiology with dedicated pediatric interventional radiology experience.
The radiology department at Children's Minnesota performs more than 100,000 imaging procedures a year utilizing the latest imaging technology. In addition to joining our outstanding radiology program, the successful candidate will become the second dedicated pediatric interventional radiologist at Children's and help develop/grow the newly-formed interventional radiology program. Currently, Children's has 1 pediatric interventional radiologist, dedicated IR technologists, and a state-of-the-art pediatric interventional radiology suite. The program is active in several multidisciplinary clinics, including vascular anomalies and pediatric thyroid cancer clinics, and currently performs several hundred procedures annually. The preferred candidate will have strong interests in program development, extensive experience with interventional procedures in children/young adults, and have interest/experience in the interpretation of diagnostic pediatric radiology exams.
Qualifications:
·Active Minnesota M.D. or D.O. medical license or eligibility.
·Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Radiology and/or Interventional Radiology.
·Additional fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology desired.
·Expertise in interventional procedures in children/young adults.
·Interests in pediatric interventional radiology program development.
·Active DEA Registration.
·Children's Minnesota Hospital privileges or ability to obtain privileges.
