The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (Children's) are seeking a Board Eligible/Certified full-time faculty pediatric neuroradiologist. Qualified applicants will join the pediatric neuroradiology section which is currently comprised of 10 fellowship-trained pediatric neuroradiologists. The radiologists at Children's are faculty of Emory University School of Medicine and provide education and training to medical students and radiology trainees. A non-ACGME fellowship program in pediatric neuroradiology is offered. The section of Pediatric Neuroradiology provides services for Children's, which is one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers in the country. The new Children's Arthur M. Blank Hospital will be opening in September 2024. Together with Children's Scottish Rite and Children's Hughes Spalding these free-standing hospitals within the city of Atlanta will have over 800 licensed beds, and more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs. Children's is a major regional and international referral center with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and cutting-edge technology across the enterprise. Each year, Children's encounters more than 1.2 million patient visits and performs more than 300,000 imaging studies. Across 25 neuroscience programs and clinical subspecialties, Children's takes care of more pediatric neurological patients than any other hospital in the country. Points of excellence include:
