Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a board-certified or board-eligibleInternal Medicine/Pediatrics physician to provide comprehensive, coordinated care to children and young adults with medical complexity in our Complex Care and Transition Clinic. Health services offered include a primary care medical home, longitudinal outpatient care management, multi-disciplinary care, collaboration with the palliative care team and facilitation of the transition from pediatric- to adult-oriented health systems. The patient population includes children and young adults with chronic and complex conditions, involvement of multiple organ systems, and medical technology. This is an established clinic with existing patient panel and Nurse Practitioner, RN Coordinator, Social Worker and Patient Care Coordinator. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is an award-winning tertiary-care children's hospital with national rankings in US News and World Report.
Training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics is preferred. Pediatricians who are comfortable seeing patients up to 25 years old will be considered. Experience working with children with medical complexity is desired. Applicants interested in education, curriculum development, research, quality improvement, and other forms of scholarly activity will be strongly considered.
