Children's Healthcare Atlanta Cardiology and Emory Department of Pediatrics are seeking an experienced and highly skilled physician to join our electrophysiology division. The primary role of the Electrophysiologist will be to provide excellent care across the Heart Center in a variety of settings to manage patients with arrhythmia and those diagnosed with or at risk for inherited heart disease. This includes the inpatient environment where you will collaborate with our surgeons, intensivists and other cardiologists. Other primary clinical roles include joining the Arrhythmia clinic with our team of advanced providers, genetic counselors and nursing staff. Furthermore, the position includes oversight of the Exercise Lab, including the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, and supporting our large network of outpatient general cardiologists across the southeast.

In addition to providing clinical care, the candidate will also be expected to participate in fellow education for both categorical and advanced electrophysiology fellows. The successful candidate will also be responsible for training pediatric residents and our robust staff of advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities also include integrating research through the Electrophysiology Division's academic pursuits in quality improvement, translational research and clinical outcomes.

In addition to duties in the Electrophysiology Division, we would anticipate the candidate would also take on additional service in general cardiology.

The successful candidate will have completed training in Pediatric Electrophysiology and be eligible for Board Certification in the State of Georgia.

The candidate will hold an appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine commensurate with the candidate's background.
