The South Texas VA Health Care System, San Antonio, Texas is seeking a board certified Physician to serve as the Chief of Staff (COS). This executive position is multi-faceted and fully responsible to the Director for programs of patient care. Key qualities include leadership, strategic planning, matrix-teamwork building, quality improvement and credentialing and privileging. This position is eligible for a Recruitment/Relocation Incentive, PCS, & the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
