The incumbent serves as a staff pathologist in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (VA TVHS), Nashville Campus. The staff pathologist is directly responsible to the Chief, P&LMS. Responsibilities include participating in the day-to-day care of hospital patients by providing and interpreting laboratory information to help solve diagnostic problems and to monitor the effects of treatment. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
