Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist or with pediatric hospital medicine experience at Hackensack University Medical Center/The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital (JMSCH) located in Hackensack, New Jersey, a desirable northeastern New Jersey location with easy access to New York City.

The successful candidate will join a group of four academic pediatricians providing primarily inpatient pediatric care to children aged newborns to the 22nd birthday. You will mentor pediatric residents and medical students, provide didactic and clinical teaching of trainees and engage in scholarly work based on interests inclusive of, but not limited to clinical research, quality improvement and community outreach.

• 28 Bed Inpatient Unit
• 15 Bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• 6 Bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• 48 Bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/Regional Perinatal Center
• Pediatric Emergency Department
• Certified Child Life Specialists/Social Workers
• Pediatric Subspecialty Services – Neurology, Behavioral/Developmental Pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Genetics, Cardiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Adolescent Medicine, Pain and Palliative Care.
• Extensive dedicated Pediatric Surgical services including general surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedics, Urology
• The JMSCH is ranked by USNWR as the #1 Children’s Hospital in New Jersey and is ranked in the top 50 children’s hospitals nationally in Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery and Hematology/Oncology.
