In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.

You Are:
- An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding
- Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with a team to meet shared objectives and goals
- Actively seeking new ways to grow and challenge yourself, using both formal and informal development
- Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances

You Will:
- Work as a member of the practice staff team of Care Coordinators to ensure that each physician practice session is well-prepared, organized, and fully utilized and that each patient visit occurs with satisfaction
- Serve as a liaison between the patient, family, and clinical team during the office visit
- Greet/check-in and orient patients to the outpatient visit and to the environment, as well as complete the patient visit by scheduling and coordinating all appropriate tests, procedures, visits, treatments, and consultations in accordance with the physicians' orders
You Have:
- A high school diploma/GED is required plus one year of relevant experience
- Experience in customer/patient service is strongly preferred
- A proven dedication to healthcare through work, internship, or volunteer experience
- Ability to handle acutely ill patients in stressful situations with a positive demeanor
- Strong digital literacy
- Ability to provide at least a 2-year commitment
Hours vary between 6:15 am and 10:00 pm (Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays). Schedules are provided one week in advance and flexibility between shifts is expected
