Position Summary
This is a Hybrid position, with the opportunity to work remote 3 days per week, 2 days in the office at our Main Campus.
This position performs a variety of duties related to the legal aspects of healthcare operations including drafting agreements and form documents, assisting in legal research and compliance, assisting in investigation and resolution of patient and employee complaints and potential claims, preparing and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas, corporate filings, trademark and copyright registrations, immigration matters and various administrative tasks.
Education
- Bachelors in related field (Required)
- Advanced degree in paralegal studies (A.A. or B.A.), Certificated Paralegal from certified Paralegal Program, or Certified Paralegal from a national association (Preferred)
Experience
- Experience with litigation, document management and legal research are essential, as are knowledge of court documents, computer skills and typing. (Required)
- Five or more years experience as a paralegal in a law firm, business corporate office, or hospital or equivalent (Required)
- Experience with health care issues and contracts (Preferred)
- Experience working in an in-house corporate environment (Preferred)
Certifications
- Advanced degree in paralegal studies (A.A. or B.A.), Certificated Paralegal from certified Paralegal Program, or Certified Paralegal from a national association (Preferred)
