PURPOSE OF POSITION: To allow the student to gain career related work experience at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Responsibilities: ??? Assist in planning and coordinating a National Conference ??? Assist in development of informational materials ??? Assist with family support meetings and training sessions ??? Assist with content updates for website and Facebook, Twitter etc., providing relevant, accurate, and user-friendly information to families ??? Assist with data entry, event evaluations, and other administrative and office duties ??? Other tasks as assigned
Requirements: ??? Graduate Student in the field of Marketing, Public Relations, Management, Communications, Education/Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent ??? Reliable and mature; takes initiative; is accountable; and works both well independently and in a team ??? Well versed in social media ??? Excellent communication and writing skills ??? Interest in developmental disabilities, working with families, and event planning desired ??? Design experience a plus (e.g., Canva, Publisher, Photoshop, etc.) ??? Available 16-20 hrs./week; position open between August 2022 - July 2023 (negotiable); daytime hours (Mon-Fri); some evenings and weekends; some local travel may be required ??? Work site is Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Medical Office Building (part-time employment by CCHMC as a student worker; no tuition reimbursement, scholarship, or benefits come with this position)
