This position provides customer support for Tenet Corporate Payroll, serving as backup point of contact both on/offshore, as well as serve as SME for enterprise garnishment and child support processes. It is a critical role required to provide a high level of customer service, performance, responsiveness, and data integrity to Tenet.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide first line of technical support for HR/Payroll Kronos users.
Serves as a Front-end user point of contact for Kronos users in the area of data and system processes.
Support Kronos projects including troubleshooting, identifies and analyzes data and processes and customer support within the Payroll area.
Assist offshore users with all inquiries related to work rules, pay rules, setups, and access in Kronos systems.
Assist in the training of PR/HR users on new system changes/updates.
Participate in testing of updates, patches, fixes, and functional enhancements to Kronos.
Responsible for review and set-up for all Child Support/Garnishment orders including preparation of orders and correspondence for scanning.
Maintain Child Support/Garnishment rules in payroll system including research and testing with Payroll Systems Support to determine proper withholding from employee wages according to state rules and garnishment type.
Write, review and process reports to automate answer letters and interrogatory responses.
Maintain Child Support/Garnishment screens by determining amount to withhold each pay period, according to information contained within order.
Answer and resolve Child Support/Garnishment questions to provide accurate information in a timely and concise manner to courts, agencies, and employees.
Interact with various departments within and outside the company to answer questions and resolve issues (external contacts include check collection agencies, courts, lawyers)
Special projects as assigned, including account reconciliations.
Bachelorâ��s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Minimum 2 yearsâ�� experience in Payroll/HR with hands-on HRIS experience, multi-state processing.
Aptitude for logical and analytical thinking, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology.
Action oriented with high initiative and ability to think independently.
Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment collaborating and building strong relationships with varying team members.
