SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: To conduct independent and directed scientific studies and research in support of a Principal Investigator's research

No bench work is involved in this position

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Research
Follow research protocol. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all research activities. Analyze data; perform statistical and graphical analysis of data. Design and execute public health studies in coordination with senior team members. Reproduces and evaluates techniques and results for accuracy. Help maintain study reseach databases.

Administration
Provide adminstrative support to research team by communicating with global stakeholders (arranging meeting, responding to emails). Candidate must be willing to work with a diverse team from around world.

Serve as a Resource
Demonstrate competence in specific knowledge, skills and behaviors. Effectively communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills. Stay abreast of changes in key systems. Serve as a resource to the department in specific area(s).

Maintain/manage strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. Respond to requests quickly and effectively. Identify and understand customer needs and expectations and meets them. Communicate any relevant information to clients, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

??? High school diploma or equivalent
??? 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline. or equivalent combination of education and experience
???May require an Associate degree, vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent

Preferred:
Bachelor degree in a science related field
