Position Summary & MissionThe Medical Records Specialist performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions to maintain clinical records, process release of information requests and assure department quality conformance in keeping with relevant WACs, RCWs, and other regulations and agency policies. Effectively maintains, organizes, processes and controls the flow of paper clinical documents within the department. Accurately and efficiently scans and indexes clinical documents according to prescribed indexing and scanning processes.
