PRPs are not considered independent practitioners and will not be privileged; rather, they are to have a "scope of practice" that allows them to perform certain restricted duties under supervision. Clinical Duties: In the Specialty Care Section, Pulmonologists will spend most of their patient care time in the outpatient setting. The incumbent will also oversee clinical care delivered in the Intensive Care Unit. The Pulmonologist will work closely with the respiratory therapy team at the Marion VA to ensure excellent patient care. The Pulmonologist will be responsible for PFT interpretation and report generation.
