This position will primarily support our Burn Director, 5 Burn faculty and the APPs in the division of Acute Care Surgery and will assist with special programs and projects that will be lead by the Burn Unit. This position will also provide calendar management and travel support, complete provider time away requests, pay and track membership dues and licensure renewals and manage provider CVs. They will also assist with FMLA paperwork, scheduling return appointments, scheduling surgeries and work incoming calls. The ideal candidate should have outlook experience, administrative support experience, possess the ability to multi-task and critically think to solve problems. Performs administrative and business support related duties of a complex nature in support of an area with minimal guidance.

Vanderbilt Burn Center is the only dedicated burn center serving adults and children in Tennessee. Our team is solely dedicated to meeting the complex physical, medical and emotional needs of burn treatment and recovery. We use the most advanced technology and treatment methods to help our patients lead a full, productive life. As part of the Vanderbilt Burn Center, the Outpatient Burn Clinic provides evaluation for minor burn injuries and follow-up care for those recovering from their burn injuries. Our Burn Clinic offers support, understanding and education for patients during the healing process. We seek a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be a part of our outpatient burn team.

Additional Key Elements/ Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of administrative support which may include, but not limited to, scheduling, booking travel and budget reconciliation.
Ensures data/records are created and maintained to document financial, planning, correspondence, procedures, processes and other information.
Complete of FMLA paperwork
Assist with faculty call schedules
Assist with event planning
Scheduling of meetings and conferences
Booking travel and submitting for reimbursement
Making sure conference registration fees are paid
Tracking and assisting with Medical License renewals
Tracking and assisting with paying membership dues
Assist with the management and upkeep of faculty CVs
Scheduling return patient appointments
Managing the phones and fax machine
Completing the Institution and Department Faculty/Provider Time Away Process
Ability to use different virtual meeting platforms including Zoom and TEAMS
Assists with creating the call schedule for the Burn faculty
Compiles data, analyzes information and summarizes findings in support of an area.
Prepares reports and other documentation as requested.

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 4 years relevant experience
