Job Description:
Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking a 100% Occupational Medicine physician to perform DOT, for work compensation and disability, pre-placement physicals, and other specialty examines for duty evaluations. Physician must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Opportunity to train to become a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, Medical Review Officer, and Aeromedical Examiner ! No call required. Support by Advanced Practice Clinicians. Outreach to Stevens Point and Neillsville locations.
Practice allows for opportunity to be a part of The National Farm Medicine Center (NFMC) which was established in 1981 in response to occupational health problems seen in farm patients coming to Marshfield Clinic. The center continues to focus its research and outreach on rural populations, especially the agricultural sector, which is one of the most hazardous industries in the United States. Farm Medicine is part of Marshfield Clinic Research Institute and a collaborator in the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center.
