Under the direction of the DMC Market Chief Financial Officer, provides support for all government fee for service reimbursement affecting four acute care hospitals, one childrenâ��s hospital and one freestanding rehabilitation hospital. Supports various functions related to accounting for DMC revenue cycle transactions, including monthly entries for contractual allowances. Serves as an internal consultant to the DMC leadership for reimbursement and Medicare/Medicaid regulatory matters.
Bachelorâ��s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
At least 10 years of experience in healthcare financial management and accounting in a medium to large size academic medical center with significant responsibility for Medicare and Medicaid third-party reimbursement.
Academic medical center, organ transplant program and nursing and allied health reimbursement regulatory and payment policy experience and financial leadership roles strongly preferred.
