James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for this 10-month full-time appointment that will begin on August 24, 2022. The School of Nursing (SON), housed within the College of Health and Behavioral Studies, offers CCNE accredited Baccalaureate, Masters, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. Teaching responsibilities will focus on undergraduate program needs. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in Adult Health is required, with experience in acute care and fundamentals preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for this position include clinical, classroom, laboratory, and other teaching assignments in the undergraduate programs related to Adult Health (Acute Care or Fundamentals). Professional, school and university service, and scholarship are additional expectations.
Qualifications Qualifications for this position include the following: Minimum of Master’s Degree in Nursing, Doctorate in nursing or related discipline (preferred), and three or more years of clinical nursing practice experience in Adult Health is required, with experience in acute care and fundamentals preferred. Other requirements include RN registration and eligibility for Virginia nursing license. Teaching experience is preferred.
