Sinai-Grace Hospital is DMCâ��s largest hospital, offering a comprehensive heart center, cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and cosmetic services. Sinai-Graceâ��s joint replacement program features a revolutionary minimally invasive knee and hip replacement surgery that attracts patients from all over the country. Sinai-Grace operates more than 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties and is one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to help set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians throughout the nation.
Under minimal direction, this role uses independent judgment to apply extensive knowledge of human resources performance practices, policies, procedures, and services to support Detroit Medical Center objectives. Ensures that the human resources needs of internal and external customers are met. Enables internal customers to effectively connect people and business strategies. 1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or related discipline) or equivalent combination of education and experience as a HR Generalist or experiences in multiple disciplines of HR. Active certification as PHR, SPHR or GPHR preferred. Master's preferred in Human Resources or related field.
2. Five to seven years of progressively more responsible work experience in Human Resources and demonstrated knowledge in all areas of Human Resources. Previous experience in Labor Relations is preferred.
