JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Manager will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of clinicians and other allied health staff within specific clinical protocols.
Participates in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff
Schedule's staffing to meet changing workload needs
Provides professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoots the delivery of patient care. Responds to requests from families and other concerned patients regarding patient care issues
Identifies training needs for staff and facilitates staff development. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training, orientation, and education programs
Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the department manager
Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
