Zablocki VA Medical Center is seeking a part-time Infectious Disease Physician to support our Veteran population. The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center is an academically oriented, tertiary care facility affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). We are seeking a motivated, board certified/board eligible Infectious Disease physician for full time employment at both locations (0.625 FTE VA and 0.375 FTE Froedtert Hospital). The successful candidate should be comfortable in managing a wide array of disease processes relevant to infectious diseases across the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center and our MCW clinical associate, Froedtert Hospital, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. An interest and/or experience in antimicrobial stewardship will be highly desirable. Applicants must fulfill all requirements to qualify for an academic appointment at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Medicine. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong commitments in clinical growth, research development and medical education. Participation in local committees as deemed necessary in support of our mission will also be required. The physician will share on call duty assignments with other infectious disease providers during evenings, weekends, and holidays, subject to change based on the needs of the facility.
