In this high-profile position, you will provide leadership and direction for UCLA Health Radiation Oncology services, and the Thoracic and Surgical Oncology licensed clinics. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the department’s clinical management and administrative systems. This role will involve strategic planning and program development; personnel and fiscal management; space allocation; capital equipment acquisition; and facility renovations. You will:
Manage clinical ambulatory and community practices
Supervise patient care staff
Help establish an infrastructure for recruiting physicians and staff
Oversee clinical operations
Ensure clinic meets compliance, patient satisfaction/safety and quality goals
We’re seeking a flexible, patient-focused, service-oriented leader with:
·Master’s in business, health care administration, public health or related field
·Five to seven years of healthcare managerial experience
·Exceptional clinical leadership, planning and change management skills
·High level of diplomacy, communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities
·Expertise in managing patient services and nursing staff in a high-volume setting
·In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
·Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
·Ability to establish a culture of integrity
·Excellent organization and prioritizing abilities
·Knowledge of research-oriented patient care systems preferred
·Advanced financial expertise in budget planning and financial forecasting in healthcare a plus
·Knowledge of EPIC EHR desired
