Serve as a Physician (Hematology-Oncology) located within the Gainesville VA Healthcare System assigned to the Medical Service Line. This position is for assignment at Malcom Randall Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located in Gainesville, FL. The Physician (Hematology-Oncology) will provide full time clinical care to patients with benign hematologic, malignant hematologic, and solid tumor malignancies. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Participation in research education workshops. Responsible for oversight, teaching, and mentoring of trainees from our academic affiliates. Proficient in providing care to patients with benign hematologic, malignant hematologic, and solid tumor malignancies. Provide Inpatient consultative services. Provide electronic consultations. Participation in and holding principal investigator roles for clinical trials. Provide on-call responsibilities nights, weekends, and holidays in order to support the patient care mission of the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System.
