Directs the primary liaisons with deans, faculty, students, and individuals of other campuses and clinical locations for educational activities. Oversees the coordination of education sessions including faculty scheduling, room reservations, procuring equipment and supplies, set-up, gathering session materials, and evaluations. Oversees the scheduling of exams and manages case materials in software systems. Creates and electronically distributes program-related materials including, but not limited to: syllabi, clinical schedules, academic schedules, reference materials, and assignments. Assists faculty with the creation of educational materials. Gathers curriculum mapping information and inputs data. Collaborates with counterparts to create and update handbooks, communications, and other course-related materials. Helps develop processes to integrate and coordinate programs and ensures program compliance with the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) standards,  policies, and regulations. Monitors courses to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Participates in data collection and reports activities related to maintenance of COCA accreditation. Oversees the coordination of student performance evaluations and clinical teaching evaluations. Facilitates assessment programs and coordinates teaching technology use. Develops and maintains documents. Tracks, schedules, and records activities related to the institution, programs, and learners. Participates in student orientation, educational events, and other medical school or campus programs. Works with clinical coordinators and clinical faculty to coordinate activities and systems required by the clerkships. Coordinates guest speakers for educational events. Provides information, support, and problem-solving on a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners. Schedules events and assembles enrollment and education information. Follows compliance and COCA guidelines. Supports educational objectives by tracking and communicating information related to educational programs. Assists in the development of course materials per institutional requirements. Recruits, orients, and assists with scheduling faculty and community educators. Prepares reports to be disseminated to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs. Assists in the support of Graduate Medical Education (GME) development. Helps facilitate the Medical Education Consortium (MEC). Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Five years of experience in undergraduate Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education (ACGME or AOA), other professional programs, or a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Performs complex and highly advanced managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning for the Proposed SHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.
