The Hematology/Oncology Section of the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) is seeking a physician scientist with clinical research expertise. The successful candidate will have full salary support with 30 to 50% protected time for research activities. Successful candidates will also have an appointment in the Division of Hematology/Oncology/Transplantation at the University of Minnesota. Memberships in the University of Minnesota Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Alliance Clinical trials group are also available. Candidates should display excellent clinical care skills, interest in teaching, and demonstrated ability to lead an outstanding clinical research program as evidenced by more than 20 peer reviewed publications. Applicants must be BC in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Hematology and/or Oncology.
