Clinical Research Coordinator - Immigrant Health & Cancer Disparities (Spanish Fluency Required) . Job Description For more than 20 years, Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities (IHCD) has worked to identify and eliminate disparities in health and cancer treatment among immigrants and minorities. Housed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2011, the IHCD Service offers a wide range of programs for patients, healthcare professionals, and patient advocates. Our team uses a multidisciplinary approach to address gaps in healthcare at the local, national, and global levels. Our community-based programs provide a gateway to health education and services for immigrants and other medically underserved minorities in New York City and beyond. Our team is currently conducting several multi-institutional studies to examine the relationship between treatment for cancer and employment outcomes. We are currently assessing the use of mobile applications to promote job retention among cancer patients during and after treatment through providing communication strategies, information about work accommodations, and helpful resources. The position requires fluency in Spanish-written and spoken. Hours: Initial training M-F 9 am 5 pm. As an integral member of the research team, and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, the Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the maintenance of participant management and data management on research/clinical studies. In this role, you will work closely with MSK and each participating institution on data collection, entry and analysis and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the life of the study.
