The UCSF Department of Medicine is seeking a physician/scientist faculty in the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

The Division of Occupational Medicine is an integrated division that spans across UCSF’s primary sites including: UCSF Health, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and the San Francisco VA Healthcare System (SFVAHCS). The Division enjoys a long tradition of distinction in clinical care, education, and scholastic pursuits and is seeking a physician/scientist at the Associate to Full Professor level. While clinical attending duties on the outpatient occupational health services are expected, the successful applicant will have an active and productive basic, translational or clinical research program with a strong record of extramural funding as demonstrated by support as PI at the NIH R01 level or equivalent.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Occupational and Environmental or Preventative Medicine. Although not required, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate clinical, teaching, and administrative experience with excellent communication skills and have a valid U.S. medical license.
