Faculty Openings in School of Nursing Prepare the Next Generation of Nursing Professionals. Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing has exciting opportunities available for a full-time clinical faculty position in Surgical/Care of the Adult Specialty and a tenure-track faculty position in Obstetrics and Women's Health. For nearly a half-century, Quinnipiac University has educated nursing students who are well trained and well positioned for success. In 2011, we achieved an important milestone with the founding of our School of Nursing. Over the years, we have expanded our undergraduate, graduate and doctoral offerings to include 10 programs serving more than 1,100 students in our state-of-the-art facility. Our results — and our commitment to nursing education — speak for themselves. Our licensure and certification pass rates are stellar, and our graduates are actively sought after by employers across the country. Simply put, our graduates become interprofessional and transformational leaders in health care. But no one ever achieves measurable success alone. Our faculty and staff are the foundation of our deepest principles of innovation, collaboration, compassion and excellence. As we embark on a new year, we're looking for progressive and driven educators to join our School of Nursing faculty. Our approach to nursing education and to patient care has distinguished us as the only bachelor's degree program in New England — and 1 of only 15 nursing schools in the nation — to offer programs endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation. Just as important to our mission and our philosophy of holistic care is our dedication to inclusivity within the Quinnipiac community, the surrounding local community and the global community. As a result of the diversity of professional programs offered at Quinnipiac University, faculty and students have the opportunity for interprofessional education. The state-of-the art facilities on the North Haven Campus enable students from the Schools of Nursing, Medicine, Health Sciences, Law, Education, Engineering and Business to learn with and from each other. All of our full-time faculty hold doctorates and all are immersed in integrated practice through ongoing clinical experience and thoughtful research. As lifelong learners, they bring real-world applications, teachable experiences and knowledge of current practices to the classroom every single day. It's what we do best. Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls 9,715 students in 110 degree programs through its Schools of Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing and the College of Arts and Sciences. Quinnipiac is recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Princeton Review's “The Best 386 Colleges.” Quinnipiac University has a strong commitment to the principles and practices of diversity and inclusion throughout the university community. Quinnipiac University is an Equal Opportunity Employer. To apply, visit https://career.qu.edu/cw/en-us/filter/?job-mail-subscribe-privacy=agree&search-keyword=&category=faculty
