Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking anoutstanding academic BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join the Division ofCardiothoracic Surgery, within the Department of Surgery.
Qualifications: - Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Additional training in minimally invasive valve surgery, TAVR and TEVAR, VAD, and heart transplantation would be valuable
- Experience in an academic setting is preferred
The ideal candidate willbe proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and expected tocontribute to the growth and development of disease based programs inpartnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. We areactively involved in medical student and resident education. Academicappointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor throughTexas A&M College of Medicine will be determined by experience andqualifications. The Division also has an active research program and iscommitted to supporting the right individual develop his / her researchinterest.

QUALIFICATIONS - Doctorate Degree in Medicine - Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists. |
