An ophthalmologist has the knowledge and professional skills needed to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Ophthalmologists are medically trained to diagnose, monitor and medically or surgically treat all ocular and visual disorders. This includes problems affecting the eye and its component structures, the eyelids, the orbit and the visual pathways.
Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Retina Specialist at our campus in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The new associate will acquire an existing robust practice and join a collegial and well-established group with more than 20 doctors representing multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or experienced Retina Specialist to practice in a state-of-the-art-facility.The region offers a hassle-free community living allowing for a balanced professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle while in close proximity to NYC and Philadelphia.
