Orlando, FL- Nemours Children’s Health System is seeking a dynamic, distinguished physician executive to serve as its next Chair of Pediatrics, Nemours Children's Hospital Orlando. Located in Orlando, Florida, Nemours Children’s Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. The 130-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region.
Nemours has grown to become one of the nation’s largest integrated pediatric health systems, providing hospital and clinic-based specialty care, primary care, prevention and health information services, and research and medical education programs aimed at improving the lives of children and families throughout the Delaware Valley and in Florida.
Nemours Children's Hospital Orlando is on a path to becoming the leading regional provider in pediatric care and longer term to develop into a recognized national leader in pediatric academic medicine. The need is for a visionary and forward-thinking leader who will help guide Nemours Children's Hospital to this goal set out by the Nemours Health System President and CEO, Dr. Larry Moss. This leader will continue the growth and development of Nemours Children's Hospital Orlando while also working with the broader Florida Enterprise to continue to advance the system vision and goals.

The Chair will be an extraordinary clinical and academic leader with demonstrable ability to set a vision, effectively inspire, and manage and mentor others. The successful candidate will have a reputation as an outstanding clinician, experience working in an integrated pediatric clinical program, have a passion for academic medicine and demonstrated business and financial acumen. S/he will be an individual who has a commitment to providing outstanding care, driving high quality and safety, and a desire to improve systems and processes to maximize efficiency. The Chair will engage faculty to provide an environment conducive to expanding research, education and developing others.
