Responsible for front line office support to the department. Coordinates and performs front line office activities in an effective and efficient manner for the department.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of the Health System in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Works under the supervision of the Operations Director, Dermatology Service Line.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Demonstrated competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills (intermediate typing, keyboarding, and computer skills).
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of medical terminology, insurance referral and pre-certification processes, and Epic applications.
Demonstrated intermediate office skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, multi-task, and provide problem resolution.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year previous front-office experience in a medical setting preferred.
Successful completion of Key Access Personnel (KAP) training prior to hire or during orientation period.
