Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

TIME MANAGEMENT-Time management refers to a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. This set encompass a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing.
COMPUTER SKILLS-Demonstrates basic navigation in a windows environment, and passwords and security. Accesses the internet, uses basic browser functionality, and understands policy on Internet usage. Demonstrates the ability to compose, send and read emails, understands email functionality and conventions related to replying.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree required.
5 year secretarial experience required. Experience may be in lieu of a degree.
Advanced or Complex office experience required.

GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER: (GMC),located Danville, Pa., the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
