The Society for Neuroscience will begin accepting applications for the Neuroscience Scholars Program on January 15, 2020. The Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) is an extensive two-year online training program open to underrepresented neuroscience graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Designed to cultivate long-term success through mentoring, networking, and professional skills development, NSP offers live events and webinars, a library of educational resources, and an online community supporting career connections as well as scientific and professional growth.
Eligible applicants will be invited to become NSP Associates, and eighteen candidates will be selected as NSP Fellows, to be granted additional benefits including access to a mentor, complimentary registration and travel to Neuroscience 2020 and 2021, and financial support for professional development activities.
