SEATTLE, WA: The University of Washington’s (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology is seeking applicants for a full-time kidney transplant clinical faculty position at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC). This non-tenured position at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor level may begin as soon as June 2019 and is an annual appointment with a 12-month service period.
UWMC is an academic center of excellence that has been frequently recognized as one of the top ten hospitals in the nation. The Division of Nephrology’s UWMC section is the site for our transplant program where the subspecialty transplant fellowship occurs. Applicants must have an MD (or foreign equivalent) and be ABIM board certified in Nephrology (or foreign equivalent). They also must have completed a kidney transplant fellowship. Successful candidates should demonstrate outstanding clinical and teaching skills.
In order to be eligible for University Sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
