Major Duties and Responsibilities: Faculty responsibilities include teaching; student advising; service to the department, division, college, university and community; research; and clinical practice.
Qualified individuals must have an earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program. May also qualify with a related doctoral degree, strong professional counselor identity, and employed as a full-time faculty member in a CACREP accredited counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. Must have mental health licensure or eligible for State of Colorado licensure through the Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Experience teaching and academic preparation for counselor education program (CACREP) foundations
Clinical experience providing counseling to marginalized and underserved populations
Use and implementation of CACREP standards, with an orientation toward curriculum development.
Training and experience as a clinical supervisor
Strong background in pedagogy/andragogy
Excellent collegiality and collaboration skills.
Engaging and motivational teaching approach.
Willing to invest in a collaborative, team-based approach to research within the Division and College.
