Spinal Cord Injury
The Regional Director of Quality Management oversees quality assurance and performance improvement activities in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital Division (IRH).
Supports the IRH Performance Improvement and Patient Safety programs in accordance with the guidelines and regulatory requirements of Federal and State regulations on a division-wide basis.
Oversees operations of the Infection Control and Employee Health Programs.
Develops and reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards. Assists IRH in assuring regulatory compliance with applicable accrediting bodies.
Oversee the coordination, development and evaluation of inpatient rehabilitation hospital quality program outcome activities, as well as support the performance of the local hospital and DQM in the following areas:
Required regulatory reporting
Standard compliance and survey readiness
Quality improvement and outcomes measurement
40 - 50% travel is required throughout division. This position can be officed remotely.
Master's Degree Required
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
Three years in Quality Improvement, with Statistical Process Control experience and computer skills preferred.
Familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.
Previous experience in Infection Prevention and Control Practices strongly preferred.
Previous experience in Employee Health operations preferred.
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
