The SCCR Executive Director shall manage and have general supervision, administration and direction over the operations of the Center and its employees subject to the overall authority of the Board of Managers and to any policies and procedures adopted by the Board of Managers. The Executive Director shall be responsible for providing administrative staff support to committees; providing information to the various committees necessary for the fulfillment of their functions; maintaining appropriate relationships with community, governmental and professional bodies and the Surgery Center’s administrative and professional staff; and coordinating the preparation of the Surgery Center’s annual operating and capital budgets. The Executive Director, subject to employment policies, pay scales and salary ranges established by the Board of Managers, shall have the power and authority to appoint, hire, dismiss, regulate hours of work, and set and adjust rates of pay for all subordinate personnel of the Surgery Center.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a clinical discipline required. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business or a related discipline preferred.
7 or more years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.
Strong understanding of ambulatory surgery center operations, healthcare system operations and the larger healthcare environment.
