Mayo Clinic is searching for a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with specific expertise in Neuro-Oncology. Mayo Clinic is a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with 7 pediatric hematologist/oncologists. Our group is a full member of the Children's Oncology Group and there are opportunities for collaboration with other subspecialties within the Cancer Center.Mayo Clinic offers excellent teaching opportunities with our medical students, residents and fellows. Academic rank in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience.
Candidates must be board-certified/ board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with expertise in neuro-oncology. Candidates should also have outstanding clinical and teaching skills, and experience in basic, clinical or translational research. Candidates at the Associate Professor level or higher with clinical or investigative experience, a strong publication record, and experience securing extramural funding are preferred. A proven record of collaborative science endeavors and experience directing research projects is desired.
