Summary of Job Function: Works on behalf of MMC Foundation as a member of the Special Events team is responsible for the successful planning and coordination of all Monmouth Medical Center Foundation(MMCF) fundraising and other special events to raise funds, awareness and appreciation for Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) Responsibilities include managing a community teaching hospital Special Events Department, which includes at least 10 major fundraising special events per year and several dedication and donor relations receptions. In addition, this person will manage the logistics for all auxiliary and third-related events. This will include, and is not limited to managing budgets, working with vendors, negotiating contracts, recruiting volunteers, coordinating a schedule of activities and all other tasks associated with these events. The manager will assist in the development of invitations, programs and other printed materials as needed to promote special events for Monmouth Medical Center Foundation. He/She will assist with the Director to manage MMCF s master s event calendar. This includes providing consultation with MMC and MMCF faculty, staff and volunteers regarding their events and outreach activities. Collaborate with the Director of the Foundation operations, Director of Finance and Director of Special Events to ensure efficient and effective communication and partnership. The Special Events manager will also support all activities of the director of special events including the management of all database task, acknowledgement processes and technology associated with the efficiency of all events.
Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc
Insure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Associate or Bachelor s degree in Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Nursing, Business, Healthcare, or related field. At least one year experience working in a hospital setting, in an area involving direct customer interaction.
