The Data Coordinator is responsible for assisting with tasks related to project completion including analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation of solutions as they apply to the organization's strategy. Responsible for assisting with and performing tasks related to report development including specification preparation, design, testing, validation, analysis and maintenance for all clinical reporting projects.
Related tasks of this position:
Performs routine (daily, weekly and monthly) metric reporting.
Promptly identifies variances and coordinates timely resolution with appropriate parties. Imports, analyzes, manipulates and reports data to assist with analytics, improvement projects and operations research.
Maintains their own projects and ensures deadlines are met.
Monitors and tracks tasks and due dates related to assigned projects. Interacts with others as needed to ensure validity and timely completion of projects. Assists with planning, testing and documentation for application upgrade Educates internal users on application use and procedures. Assists user departments in utilizing assigned applications and other related tools to streamline operations, improve service and enhance customer relationships.
Act as security administrator, use of interactive forms, site testing, performing version upgrades, utilization of templates/wizards and general troubleshooting.
Handle goals-flu reports, acts as data base administrator for respiratory protection and flu administration sites, , new hire/volunteer clearance logs, and services request Act as owner of both Employee Health mailboxes and internal SharePoint sites.
Utilization of multiple reports in or for EPIC, Truven, Medicare, annual immunizations, productivity and monthly comp reconciliation.
Perform audits, assist with the transition to Workday and NHSN (National Healthcare Safety Network) database reporting.
Liaison between, EMR vendor, Geisinger IT, and Employee Health.

Knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available at the desktop (e.g., word processing, e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years Related work experience
Minimum of 5 years Managerial/Supervisory
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree in Computer Science
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree in Related Field of Study
