Description Program Manager - Communication Requisition Number 1901132 Your Role : The Department of Health Policy is seeking a qualified Program Manager candidate with strong communication skills, considerable promotional experience, and strong organizational project management expertise. This position will manage internal departmental events and high profile, public-facing departmental seminars, as well as design and execute the department's overall communications strategy including social media and website content. The ideal candidate has experience promoting academic work and managing multiple simultaneous events, works well with internal and external stakeholders, takes initiative to proactively plan and track event processes, and ensures completion of successful events. The successful candidate should be organized, efficient, detail oriented, a team player, and a self-starter. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to think and function independently, and be able to multi-task while remaining on schedule. The candidate should have experience with health policy issues including knowledge of the policy process and structure of the US health care system. Excellent time management and planning skills are essential.
