Job Description As the Scientist – HLA Laboratory, you’ll help assure the smooth daily operation of the laboratory and supervise DNA-based HLA typing or other genetic marker tests such as engraftment monitoring after Stem cell transplantation. You’ll also perform Single Bead Antibody Screen analysis, develop and implement new procedures and should be familiar with the various computer software related to data analysis. You’ll be responsible for helping teach and train molecular genetics and techniques to staff. You’ll also help laboratory staff in solving all technical problems, provide transfusion support to regional blood banks and customer service. Responsibilities
