The Division of Infectious Disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking two board certified/board eligible academic infectious disease physicians. The Division of Infectious Diseases is comprised of more than 30 physicians providing expertise in over 10 different focus areas of infectious diseases. Mayo Clinic is a renowned tertiary care center involved in the management of infectious diseases in patients referred from locations around the nation and worldwide. The division supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in general infectious diseases and two non-accredited advanced fellowships in Orthopedic and Transplant Infectious Diseases. Responsibilities of the consultant positions include participation in inpatient consultative services, outpatient infectious diseases clinics, telemedicine consultations, patient care quality and safety initiatives, and career development activities in education and/or research. The Infectious Diseases Division is open to considering alternate FTE opportunities. Qualifications Additional qualifications License or certification Qualifications: Candidates should have Infectious Diseases fellowship training and be ABIM Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases. Evidence of academic productivity with a commitment to research and/or education in Infectious Diseases is expected. Interest in outpatient ID, telemedicine, quality and outcomes, and subspecialty inpatient consultations is preferred. These positions will include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
