Kindred Healthcare, Inc., Billings Clinic and St. Vincent Healthcare are in partnership to open and operate a 34-bed Inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Billings, Montana.
The new inpatient rehabilitation hospital, The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana, will offer all private rooms and treat patients who are recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. The hospital will meet the growing clinical needs of Billings, the state and region. Kindred will manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital, which is expected to employ more than 100 caregivers and staff. Subject to several regulatory and other approvals, the partners expect the inpatient rehabilitation hospital to open by the first quarter of 2019.

The Chief Clinical Officer/Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) is actively involved, at the executive level, in the leadership of the organization. Organizes and administers areas of Patient Care Services. The Chief Clinical Officer/Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assumes responsibility and accountability for Nursing and other clinical departments as assigned. The CCO/DCPS in collaboration with the leadership team, develops, implements, interprets and assures compliance with policies and procedures including compliance with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards. The Chief Clinical Officer is responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters. The CCO reinforces the mission and vision of the hospital in all interactions.
Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in patient care services and management preferred.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) or at least 3 years of experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred.
Minimum of three years of previous nursing management preferred.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
Basic computer knowledge is a must.
Bilingual is a plus.
