Gulf Coast Treatment Center is looking to hire an individual to fill the position of Clinical Director.
Gulf Coast Treatment Center is a licensed Residential Treatment Center (RTC) accredited by The Joint Commission. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Treatment involves a multi-disciplinary team of clinical staff including a psychiatrist, mental health therapists, a recreational therapist, registered nurses, mental health technicians and certified teachers. The program is designed to re-establish healthy behaviors while successfully transitioning residents back into the family, home, school and community as soon as possible.
This position oversees, monitors, and improves the continuum of care from admission through discharge placement. The Clinical Director directs the review of patients' admissions and length of stay relevant to 'level of care' criteria of appropriateness and duration of stay, develops and administers a comprehensive system of inpatient social service / case management, education and adjunctive therapy services that provide effective therapy / case management, education/psycho-education services, and adjunctive therapy services. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with standards and regulation, assisting in establishing standards of practice, delivering effective clinical and fiscal management, and achieving optimal patient outcomes and reimbursement.
